CHRISTMAS ON THE MANTEL

Thank you for visiting me even though you'd probably forgotten about BDwL. I decide to stop blogging. Then I miss all of you, so I create a new post.

THE REST OF OUR CHRISTMAS DECOR

Our stockings are hung with care, but not by the chimney.

CHRISTMAS TABLES ALMOST FINISHED

I don't have the stemware or the salt and pepper or butter plates on some of the tables, and I have one more little table to set, but I'm almost done.

CHRISTMAS VILLAGE IN OUR GAME ROOM

An entire village has moved into our game room.

VINTAGE AND NUTCRACKER CHRISTMAS DECOR

When we host Christmas Eve dinner for 30 family members, we serve dessert in the study.

CHRISTMAS IN THE FAMILY ROOM

If you've visited me during the Christmas season in the past, you know we have a Santa collection.

CHRISTMAS IN THE ENTRY

I'm having so much fun decorating for Christmas, I'm forgetting to share our decor with you.

TWELVE CHRISTMAS TABLESCAPES

2016

Do you know how you're going to set your table for Christmas this year?

CHRISTMAS MANTEL

Every Christmas season, I use our Fontanini Nativity set on the mantel.

CHRISTMAS DECOR AROUND THE HOUSE

If you thought I'd shared all my Christmas decor, you'd be wrong. There's more!

STILL WORKING ON CHRISTMAS TABLESCAPES

Today, I'm sharing some of my Christmas Eve tablescapes.

NUTCRACKER BALLET IN STUDY

The Christmas theme in the study this year is the Nutcracker Ballet.

The Christmas village normally resides in the study, but I guess the inhabitants liked the game room better, so they moved the entire village in there. The amazing thing is that no moving trucks were used in this migration of an entire village!

I HAVE A LITTLE SANTA COLLECTION

My Santa collection started small.

CHRISTMAS TABLESCAPES

Christmas Decor-Bargain Decorating with Laurie

2014

I'm sharing some of my past Christmas tablescapes. In 2014, I used a cloche on each of the four tables for Christmas Eve dinner.

SNOWMEN AND WNTER BUNNIES

Snow men, women, and children are smiling in our sunroom.

CHRISTMAS TREES DECORATED

Our trees are decorated. This is our first year to use artificial trees, and I think I'm going to love them. No wrapping lights around the trees or crawling on the floor to water them.

CHRISTMAS TABLESCAPES

On Christmas Eve, we serve dinner to the same family members who were here for Thanksgiving, so I set a lot of tables for both celebrations. Last year, the theme for the tables was Christmas trees and red plaids.

CHRISTMAS MANTEL 2016

Our Fontanini nativity is back on the mantel this year. If you don't know about my incredible bargain on this set, you can read about it here.
