The Christmas theme in the study this year is the Nutcracker Ballet.
My vintage Nutcracker Ballet tablecloth was an estate sale buy years ago.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, desserts are served from this table, centered by a tree decorated with my vintage ornament collection.
Since the abundance of my vintage Christmas items, some inherited and some collected from estate sales, takes up most of the table, I have to set up a card table in here for the overflow desserts!
Yikes! My collection has outgrown the tree, so I had to make some of the ornaments into a swag.
All kinds of nutcrackers fill the top of the piano. I even have nutcracker candles for the piano candle holders! I know, I need psychiatric help for my collection issues.
Yes, you're right. There isn't enough room on the piano for all of them!
Nutcrackers hang from a tree in the bay window of this room.
Our front entry hall adjoins the study. I have a nativity set up on the table in here.
I love this plate. "He was named Jesus", a gift from my friend, Susie.
Characters from The Christmas Carol are under a serving dome on a table by the front door.
Next to Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the others, there is a framed print with a poem about Christmas is more than a day at the end of the year, a lesson Scrooge learned the hard way.
Are you ready for the celebration of the birth of our Savior? I hope your celebration will be wonderful!

Merry Christmas!
Laurie I have two four foot nutcrackers on the table behind our couch along with one three foot one and three one foot ones. I have another three foot one on the mantle, one small one on the table in the LR, several in the hutch, several in the glassed cabinets in the kitchen and quite a few hanging on the tree. What obsession?
I love everything! I really get a kick out if your comments on each picture.
