My Santa collection started small.
Before I married, I had a collection of three.
That was 47 years ago, and my husband and other family and friends have added to the collection, and it has gotten out of control!
My mother and my mother-in-law had a few Santas, which I inherited.
Okay, I'll admit I've bought a few special Santa figures for myself over the last 47 years.
But it's been a long time since I bought one. The thought of finding some place to display it during Christmas and to put it up after Christmas stops any thought of adding to the collection.
I even have a Santa bucket to hold my lamp.
Have you ever seen such an out-of-control collection?
I do enjoy seeing each of them when I get them out for the holidays, but, as we all know, putting them back up is not fun.
The stockings are hung below the Santas. He can admire all the images of himself as he fills our stockings. We have a bag of reindeer feed to fuel his transportation.
And, of course, cookies and milk for Santa. Is it obvious we're trying to get on his good side?
Thank you for coming to see my excess of Santas. Ho-Ho-Ho. Merry Christmas!

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas
You have an amazing collection and the way you display them is perfect.
The picture of the grandkids with Santa is precious.
Oh my Laurie, you do have a wonderful collection of Santa's. Putting them away will be a job. Maybe you can get some of the grands to help, if they are careful.
Thanks so much for sharing this amazing collection with us.
The picture of the grands is beautiful. Looks like your grandson is doing so well.
Hugs,
Mary
It's always fun to see your Santa collection. I think it's worth the time and effort to bring them out each year. My collection isn't nearly as large as yours, but who counts them? I gave some of my Santa figures to my nieces years ago, and it's fun to see them being displayed and enjoyed in their homes. I still have plenty of here, and I admit that I still add to my group when I find something special. This year it was a group of small plastic Santa figures from the 1950s and a larger one from the same era made from egg carton material.
Your grands are a darling group. Merry Christmas!
