Dinner for two 2014

Remember when we decorated a box for the exchange of Valentine cards in our school class?

I remember the excitement of taking my decorated box to school, and the excitement of seeing all of the cards in the box.

I still get excited about Valentine's Day.  (I know, I get excited about any kind of holiday or event.)

I think a holiday that is about celebrating love is a wonderful day.

Valentine's Day isn't just about celebrating the love of your spouse or significant other.

The love for our parents, our children, our grandchildren, our friends, and even our pets should also be celebrated on Valentine's Day.

Oh my gosh, never on any blog have I EVER seen my Wagon Wheel plates... I have a dozen of them... had more, but they broke in a move. I actually had matching mugs, too, but they have broken over the years. Wow! (And the Valentine tables were great, too!)

Hi Laurie, each and every Valentine table setting is gorgeous. I love them all and the last table with the white doves is beautiful. I have that same set of doves that was a wedding gift nearly 42 years ago.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs

What a lovely parade of Valentine's tables! I think my favorite is the one from 2009. I love those birds! I haven't begun yet to think about Valentine's Day, but, boy, I really have some inspiration now!

Ha! I just read Celestina's comment and, of course they are doves! Duh!

I haven't gotten my Valentine's stuff out yet, but I LOVE it! Always have, but then again, my birthday is 4 days later!! That doesn't hurt either!
