When I shared my Christmas supper table here, you may have had a glimpse of our Christmas trees. I told you I'd share more about them later. So, here it is (or here they are).
Every year, I prove that I'm crazy by decorating two real Christmas trees! If you missed the post about our holiday mantel, you can find that here.
I am so sentimental that I can't do themed trees. I have to use the same ornaments each year. I've had some of them since I was a child (yes, that was a long time ago).
I do get some help decorating the trees.
Our children and grandchildren will not turn down an invitation to a free, home cooked meal, so I invite them over to eat, and we decorate the trees.
Of course, some of them are not a lot of help. This year, our two year-old grandson only wanted to take ornaments off of the trees.
So, the unbreakable ornaments that decorate the bottoms of the trees were on and off the trees a lot of times that night.
When I shared part of my Santa collection here, I told you there were more Santas.
I told you then that I'd try to share the rest of them.
So, here's the rest of the proof that I'm crazy!
Can you tell that I love Christmas decorations?
I had to show you a closeup of the most recent addition to my Santa collection. My sister sent me this beautiful painting for Christmas and told me to open it before Christmas. I love it!
I am so excited to be participating in the Holiday Home Tour, hosted by Michele at Shelstring. My tour will be on Monday. I know, you thought it wasn't possible for me to have more Christmas decor to share, but I do. Be sure to go check out the other tours each day through the weekend.

I admire your tradition of decorating two live trees. You are amazing to get it all done, Laurie. I know it takes countless hours, but that you and your family and friends must get much pleasure from it all.
Looking forward to your tour next week.

Love the 2 trees - so pretty.
Whatever is served, I just call it dinner.:)
Enjoy your weekend.
Oh my goodness, those trees lit up are so beautiful, Laurie. I can just see your little guy taking the lower decorations off and putting them back on...those were great days when the kids were little and so excited about Christmas. Love your collection of Santas you have displayed so nicely on the shelves.
Have a wonderful weekend.
I loooove your two Christmas trees!! When I move somewhere bigger I plan to have two trees too!
OH I love your trees Laurie! I know one thing...I need more lights. I thought had plenty, but now I see I don't. And your santa collection..amazing!
Hugs friend,
Cindy
You are amazing and so is your Christmas display.. It all looks beautiful and I know all your kids and grands are thrilled when they see it.
xoxo
Hi Laurie, I love your trees and they are perfect on each side of your fireplace. It wouldn't be right if you did not have two filled with your wonderful keepsake ornaments. How fun for the family to help in the decorating. Your shelves are filled with magic showcasing all the Santa's and collectibles.
Love the painting your sister sent you. So you and perfect with your collection.
Christmas at your house is very special.
Hugs and Blessings
Love it! What I wouldn't give to have as many bookcases as you have to on which to display my small (but growing collection.
I love the two trees! I think trees are one thing that is just better in doubles! And I love them lit!
The trees all set up on either side of the fireplace are lovely. After seeing how pretty your trees are all lit up I will be adding a lot more lights to my tree in the family room before I decorate it this weekend. The family room tree will be my sentimental tree this year. I love your Santa collection!! It is such a relief to know there is someone out there in the world that is crazier than me (but not much crazier).
