I’m sharing a Valentine dinner for two tablescape today.
Red plastic Dollar Store chargers, topped with Lenox Moonspun dinner plates and Williams Sonoma Soups.
For a Valentine’s dinner, I have the use the silverware pattern, named “Eternally Yours” by William Rogers.
Red stemware also seems to be a “must” for a Valentine table.
On the bread plate (Vera Lace by Wedgwood), I used tiny red pots for melted butter, and baby spoons (yes, that’s a dog on the spoon handle) to put butter on our rolls and on our baked potatoes.
A red heart-embroidered napkin is topped by a white “Love” handkerchief.
My napkin holder is an ice skating girl.
His holder is a boy with his sailboat.
One of my “estate sale” tureens tops another red charger for service of our first course.
I previously showed you this cloche, but I moved it to the table for a Valentine centerpiece.
We have to have salt and pepper for baked potatoes.
A close up of the tablecloth.
The best place to share soup, steak and baked potatoes is in front of the fireplace.
It’s almost time for the Valentine linkup party! The linkup will be here this Thursday night. I hope to see you here. (For more information, please click on Cupid in my sidebar.) I can’t wait to see what all of you (I hope) will link up!
Thanks so much for visiting me. laurie
