MORE VALENTINES

Valentine Decor

In the study, there are Valentine cards on the piano.  Last year, I got the “LOVE” blocks in the $ bin at Target, and I added a clothespin to the back of each block, so I could display cards on them.

BREAKING NEWS

Don’t forget the Valentine party linkup Friday.  Last week, some of you asked about the picture of the party being featured in the magazine.  I created that, and this t.v., in the “Photofunia” program.  It’s a free, easy, and fun way to play with your photos.  Thanks for stopping by.  laurie

This post is partying with Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch, Inspire Me Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life, The Scoop at Confessions of a Plate Addict, and Open House Thursday at No Minimalist Here

Fun to see more, Laurie. I'm slowly bringing out some valentine things. As my husband said, "Lots of hearts around here." Then I reminded him that he had given many of them to me. ;-)
Cold and damp here again. I think the groundhog got it right. Doesn't look like winter is leaving anytime soon.

OK, I'm embarrassed. I was one of the ones who thought it was a real magazine article. I plead blonde.

You make me ashamed to show my piddling little valentine decorations this year. After a year of putting pops of red everywhere, I'm sort of "off" red this year. So... I have yet to put out so much as a red heart so far. I even made a taupe hearted valentine wreath instead of red for the door.

I liked it... until I came here and saw all your fun stuff.

It is all so pretty and fun Laurie!
You really know how to bring it all together too.
I am hoping for a post for your party, I may have to wing it!
Hugs friend,
Cindy

You're Valentine's deco is all so cute. I like the wreath with the old fashioned cards. Boy I wish I had kept all my cards through the years. One of my favorite things you've done is the little cloche with you and your husband's wedding photo!

Hi Laurie, your Valentine décor and the cards are so special. I love how you added the clothes pins to display cards.
Love the little cloche with you and your hubby's pic underneath.

Thank you for sharing the source for your photo effects.
Hugs

I love all of the vintage Valentine's, but best of all is the picture of the very happy bride and her handsome new husband under the cloche. What a precious memory! Perfect for Valentine's Day.
