Christmas Decor-Bargain Decorating with Laurie

The stockings are hung (but not by the chimney) with care.

The food is cooked (well almost all of it).

And my Orchid is blooming.  (Okay, that’s not really about Christmas, but I wanted to show you the blooms.)

A small cloche serves as a centerpiece.  Since I didn’t have 2 turtle doves, I used 2 pretty ducks for salt and pepper.

I scrunched 6 place settings on our “high/low” table.  If you haven’t seen this table before, it serves as a coffee table most of the time, but on Christmas Eve, we’ll raise it to dining height.

I used my 4 “O Tannenbaum” plates, which were a gift from my husband years ago, along with my Mother’s “Christmas Village” plates.

The sweet cloche ornament, in the center,  was a gift from my secret pal this year.

The French Hens salt and pepper shakers were a gift from my friend, Brandee, last year.

A table for 8 is set with Fitz and Floyd, “Country Plaid”, which I bought at a “going-out-of-business sale a few years ago.
