A NEW YEAR’S PARTY ON THE MANTEL
The new year’s celebration has begun on our mantel.
Even our Christmas trees have started celebrating the new year.
Vintage new year’s party hats are surrounded by sparkle.
Father Time has joined the party.
A bucket of Champaign is a necessary part of the celebration.
Vintage New Year’s greeting cards form a banner under the mantel.
Another banner hangs on the fireplace screen.
A third banner, cut in half, decorates the two Christmas trees.
It’s hard to believe that we’ll soon be welcoming 2015!
Let’s Par-tay! I’ll hope you’ll continue to visit me in 2015.
This post is partying with Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch, Inspire Me Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life, Tweak it Tuesday at Cozy Little House, and You’re Gonna Love It Tuesday at Kathe with an E.

I was having trouble with google so I hope my comment doesn't appear twice.
I think your mantle looks so cute. Hard to believe the year is just about over.
This is adorable fun Laurie! What a spectacular way to welcome the New Year! Happy 2015!

I have numerous Happy New Year postcards... I need to use them in a clever way, like you do!
Your mantel looks so fun and festive -- love it!
Hi Laurie, your mantel is perfect to ring in the new year. Love the banners and how you've tied the celebrations in with your trees.
Great Father Time figurine.
Hope you enjoyed a special Christmas. I've taken some time off to regroup and relax with my family and friends.
Wishing you a wonderful week as we build up to the new year.
Hugs
I love the vintage New Years decor on the mantel and the Happy New Years banners on the trees. The vintage hats and horns with the razzle dazzle tinsel makes a wonderful Happy New Year statement.I am going to be looking for a nutcracker like yours for next year. He is a handsome specimen of nutcracker beauty!
This mantel is just perfect way to welcome the New Year. I love how you used the Happy New Year postcards. Really good job!! I am inspired to do something like this for the NYE celebration. Well, I’ll host the party at the most beautiful party places in the Bronx.
Oh, those party hats are so cool. Just putting one on would cheer you up.
