Laurie, looks like a beautiful evening with your very own fireworks. Wow! Thanks for having us! The table looks so festive with the flags, Uncle Sam, Lady Liberty, and the fun dishes and glassware. Your pool and backyard certainly look inviting. I show up at your door next year for the 4th. LOL
Wonderful post! ~ Sarah

You had fireworks at your house?? At your very own house?? You didn't have to schlep coolers, and blankets, and chairs, and games, and food along with you to some open area crowded with every living breathing person from within a 100 mile diameter?? You got to see your very own fireworks without having to look in between groups of people who would constantly be moving....mostly into your line of sight???

Okay, that's it. I am officially informing you that I am available for adoption!!!

so pretty. We didn't get to do or see fireworks this year, but my dad and step mom drove up from Mississippi, we are making up for it with shopping, garage saleing and dessert!!

Laurie - Your dining room table spread is so festive - I bet you had a great time!
Your fireworks photos were amazing - I can't believe how they turn out in photos - you see so much more detail than actually watching them as they go off - especially the detail as they are fading out!
Love the birdhouse - that's quite the condo!! LOL

Your decorations look wonderful. Well, this party may be over, but there is always another one around the corner!!

I see that you celebrated enough for all of us. Out weekend was very quiet - didn't even see a single firework, not even on TV. Guess we're getting old. Enjoy your week. Sally

Great fireworks pictures. We had to watch the fireworks at my sister's through the trees. Not the best view, but we did have fun celebrating with family.

You throw a heck of a party Laurie! I love all your decorations and the table looks awesome! Even you well behaved birds got into the spirit of things. Unlike my decorating challenged birds!
