For a vignette on the buffet in the sunroom, I imagined a village in the Fall.
I bought Anne Hathaway's cottage at sidewalk sale at a home décor store.
The platter and the bowl depict cottages. I don't know why when I decorate for Fall, I think of cottages.
Maybe it's because I like to be cozy when the temperatures start dropping, and cottages are usually cozy places.
There's a sweet cottage on the planter that lives on this buffet year-round.
I love the plaid ribbon on this plate that I bought at an estate sale.
Leaves are falling, and my Santos is collecting them in her basket.
This is kind of a fun addition to the shelf above the buffet. Some of you may have read in previous posts that I grew up in the house where we now live. This
beat up shabby chic shadowbox frame belonged to my grandmother. It already had the dead-looking Fall plants in it. I slipped in a photo of our house when my parents built it in 1949, and I'm calling it Fall décor!
On another table in the sunroom, even the birds are giving thanks.
Happy child-like ceramic pilgrims and a glass Thanksgiving plate decorate another table in the sunroom.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here. Before I know it, we'll be decorating for Christmas.
Thank you for stopping by to visit me.
