I set several tables for Thanksgiving dinner, and I try to make them similar. I want everybody to feel like they are being treated the same.
Last week, I shared a table for ten in our family room. If you missed that post, you can see it here.
I again didn't center the place settings on these round mats, because that would leave no place to set the glass other than the table top.
The dinner plates on this table are Ridgeways England, Apple Blossom. The leaf-embossed chargers were from Wal Mart a few years ago.
I used jewel toned stemware that I bought at Tuesday Morning a few years ago. I mixed different colored plaid napkins on this table.
Another one of my grandmother's monogramed dessert plates is serving butter.
I used a Fall platter for the base of the centerpiece on each table.
I'm doing a good job of getting rid of my over-purchase of popcorn kernels! I again put Peacock feathers, ornamental grass, and snips of Lantana in the kernels.
This table for eight is in our sunroom. Only 12 more place settings to go. I hope I get around to cooking something for our guests to put on their plates! I'm pretty sure they're expecting to eat.
Thank you for coming to see how we'll be giving thanks this year.
I'm partying with Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch and Thoughts of Home on Thursday at Poofing the Pillows
