A CHEERY CHERRY ALFRESCO TABLESCAPE

Cherry theme tablescapee

This year's days of alfresco dining are almost behind us.

Cherry theme. bowl

And, since life is a bowl of cherries, I went cherry-crazy on this outdoor table.

I know what you're thinking. Yes, I am all kinds of crazy,

Cherry Table ttop

but being cherry-crazy is a cheerful kind of crazy. (Try saying that fast three times!)

Red and whire Dinner Place Setting

I served salads on Comptoir de Famille dessert plates. The "life is a bowl of cherries" serving bowl in a previous picture held crackers to eat with our salads.

Cherry Bordered Dinner zplate

I recently bought these Mainstays Home dinner plates from a flea market. ($1.00 for both plates!)

Hummingbird Tumbler iin Tablescape

Who knew Hummingbirds were attracted to cherries?

Cherries in a Tablescape

I rolled cherry printed napkins and stood them in hand painted juice mugs. I got the napkins at an estate sale years ago. The juice mug set was also an estate sale purchase.

Salt and Pepper Shakers

I told you I went cherry-crazy.

Flowers from our yard fill a Comptoir Famille pitcher.

Outdoor Dining

When I dine alfresco, I want to remain alfresco, so to keep from having to run in and out of the house, I brought everything outside.

Juice glasses to serve salad dressing

I used more juice mugs to serve our salad dressings,

Red and white casserole dish
a red and white polka dot casserole for Chicken Spaghetti,

Pitcher for Iced Tea

and the juice pitcher for iced tea refills.

Dining Outdoors

Yes, this was a cherry-crazy tablescape, but it was a cheerful cherry-crazy tablescape, right? (I also went a little tongue-twister crazy.)
Thank you for joining me for my tongue twisting cheery cherry-crazy table setting.

Laurie, I think this is an absolutely adorable collection and I love the cherry table. Our alfresco dining season is just around the corner, can't wait. Simply to hot here to enjoy during the summer.
Enjoy your weekend sweet friend...........

I had forgotten how happy some cherry decor can make a table feel! Love all you cherry items especially your linens, the plates with the cherry border and the salt and pepper shakers! Thank you for sharing this: I'll be on the hunt for cherry decorated items on my "scouting trips"! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

So pretty! I was surprised at how well items purchased so many different places and times all pulled together.

Do you ever get tired of hearing me tell you how perfect your tablescapes are? I certainly hope not. I love the cherries. Years ago I had collected a bunch of salt and pepper shakers. Eventually, I simply donated them all to make room. Oh, how often have you done this, only to realize that you made a huge mistake? I had some darling cherries that I would have sent to you. My house is too small to store all of my prize possessions. As I am setting up for fall, I am finding that there are some things missing. They are only misplaced as we were remodeling the kitchen last fall when things were stored. I mixed general fall with Halloween and Thanksgiving, so I will figure it all out eventually, but cross your fingers for me just in case.
