BLUE AND WHITE SPRING VIGNETTES

Blue-White Spring Vignettes-Bargain Decorating with Laurie

The buffet behind the sofa in our family room is difficult to photograph. I can't stand back far enough to get a good picture of the full buffet.

For Spring, I've put a blue and white duck under a cloche on one end of the buffet.

A little blue and white dog sits under the faux blooms in a blue and white pitcher.

A bunny in a basket centers the buffet. Did you notice my mother's glass dog bookends are wearing gigantic blue and white dog tags?

This may look like a plate, but it's a notecard. My friend, Susie, gifted me with a box of these pretty cards.

The buffet backs up to the sofa facing the family room. If I had used plates, the back of the plate would have been visible from the family room. By using two notecards, I was able to have a plate showing on both sides of the buffet.

There is more blue and white on the other end of the buffet.

A Springtime bunny resides under the cloche on this end.

A mama dog and her puppies are under the flowers in this pitcher. Blue and white orbs reside in blue and white tea cups.

So that's my blue and white Spring buffet. (This is what I'm talking about. A picture of the whole buffet has to be taken from one end.)

Speaking of Spring, this is what my three (originally tiny) climbing roses bushes have done this Spring.

It was good of you to stop by to see my blue and white vignettes.

Laurie, your climbing roses are awesome. Wow! They are certainly happy.
The blue and white is beautiful and perfect for spring. Most of our blue and white is packed up, but this makes me think I need to unpack it and put it out. '-)

Hi Laurie, Blue and white is a favorite of mine. I bring it out and then put it away for awhile. I even painted a house blue once! Your pretty vignette has inspired me to do more here too. Lovely, thanks for spreading the inspiration………
Happy week.

Simply elegant and beautiful! Your blue and whites are gorgeous pieces! Great vignette my friend, and yes, it's difficult to photograph when there aren't much space to do it from.
The shots I have taken of my plate rack are so difficult, I can never take one pretty enough from the front.
Just the same... you did a great job with the pics!

My goodness Laurie, it is such pleasure to find your blog and enjoyed your photos so much. You have such a beautiful home that can be seen in photos, love little blue/white dogs best of all. Really love all your blue/white but those little dogs are so special, never know am dog lover.
Have you been collecting your blue/white pieces for very long? You have very wonderful pieces. After living in AZ,CA, MT.,KY and now CO know some areas of country tend to have better selections to buy than others.
MT and KY were great places to find collectibles and more affordable. We got interested in antiques, vintage and collectibles in San Diego not too long before we moved to MT.
Your display/arrangements of striking pieces is quite beautiful. How nice for you to have your buffet for displays. Can imagine you enjoy arranging your pieces on it for holidays, etc.
Hope you enjoy rest of week.
