EASTER TABLE

Easter Tablesape-Bargain Decorating with Laurie
One of our tables is set for Easter dinner. I used a yellow and white tablecloth and blue transferware.

I have a couple of sets of Spode dinner plates (purchased at Tuesday Morning), and I mixed them on this table.

All of the plates are from the reproduction Spode Traditions Series.

I like some whimsy on every table. For last year’s Easter tables, I stood the bunny ear napkins in a glass. That may have been almost too whimsical (some might have called it comical)! This year, I just laid the ears on the table. The plastic eggs hold after-dinner mints. If you want bunny ear napkins on your table, the directions are here.

The centerpiece is in a metal trough. I love that this trough is so narrow. It leaves plenty of room for place settings on the table.

Pilsner glasses became vases for the Forsythia branches.

Shot glasses, hidden in the Easter grass, hold the painted eggs upright.

Cobalt blue glass plates I got at an estate sale will serve butter.

A hatching baby chic will serve salt, and

his egg will serve the pepper.

We serve about 30 people for Easter dinner, so I have just begun to get the tables ready. Have you started getting your Easter table ready yet?
Thank you for coming to see one of our tables.

Just beautiful, Laurie! I especially love the centerpiece -- long and narrow is ideal, and yours looks so festive!
