RED WHITE AND BLUE MANTEL

Red White & Blue Mantel-Bargain Decorating with Laurie

Honey, I'm home. I know -- You didn't know I'd been gone. I have had a lot going on, and I kind of lost my motivation and my get-up-and-go. I thought I might not return to blogging, but I started missing all of you, so I'm baaack.

The red, white, and blue have finally made it to our mantel.  I bought these patriotic scene tiles at an estate sale years ago.

I've had these flag trays for too long to remember where I got them.

I love to bring out the Uncle Same figures for Independence Day.

The plates with patriotic scenes came from a different estate sale.

I filled vintage milk bottles with red, white, and blue star necklaces to hold an American flag.

I think I bought this garland from the Williams Sonoma Outlet store several years ago.

I cannot believe it is almost the 4th of July. Yikes!
This Summer is zooming by.

Thank you for coming to see some of my red, white, and blue.

Laurie, Your mantle is fabulous with all of it's patriotic flair. Those flag trays are my favorites along with the Uncle Sam's of course.

There she is!! Glad you're back, I was hoping you were doing ok. No worries tho, everyone needs a break now from blogging.

Love your mantle, the patriotic theme is wonderful! I would love it if you linked this up at my Table It Link party if you have time :-)

Hi Laurie! Love this patriotic mantle! You've pulled it all together so nicely! Glad you didn't stop blogging. Sometimes I just take a break from blogging for a few months...Otherwise I'd never actually be able to create anything to put on the blog! Happy Decorating and Happy 4th of July to you! Catherine

Hi Laurie, well, speaking of estate sales, your Americana mantel just proves what treasures there are to be found! Love those tiles especially!

Loving it Laurie! You have a bounty of goodies to decorate with and always do a great job! Love your patriotic elements! Been working on some myself but don't have such a nice variety to work with!
I hope all is well and I'm glad you came back.
