Springtime makes me think of children outside, playing with their dogs. Using faux Lavender and faux dogs, I created a Spring vignette on the buffet in our family room.
The silver trays stay on the buffet most of the time, and yes, they badly need polishing! (
I have collected dogs from a lot of different places.
I even have a faux dog with faux Lavender growing out of his head!
My Mother's glass bookends are usually on this buffet, but I turned them sideways for this vignette.
One of the trays belonged to my Mother. I purchased the other tray at an auction. Nobody else bid on it because of the engraving. I'm just quirky enough to think the engraving adds to the charm of this tray!
Have you noticed dogs and children playing outside lately? Where I live, it's definitely a sign of Spring, and I love to see it.
Thank you for visiting me.

Those little dogs are so cute! My oldest just loves dogs, and she pretty much collects anything dog related. I'll have to show her your vignette. :)
I like your glass book end, I would keep it displayed like that all the time. Your faux lavender looks real.
I LIKE !
Hi Laurie, love your trays with the dogs and lavender. Such a pretty display for springtime. I have noticed more children playing outside and lots of dog walkers too.
Have a great day sweet friend.
Hugs, CM
