You may be able to tell that I am dreaming of flowers in bloom.
Since I don’t yet have the real thing, I’ve used faux flowers to make me feel like flowers are blooming in our home.
I used some artwork and some faux flowers to brighten the mantel until I can cut real flowers to bring inside.
Hopefully, it won’t be long before I can have fresh-cut flowers to bring inside. In the meantime, the faux flowers help me to remember that live, blooming flowers will soon be popping up outside.
When I took these pictures, it was storming here in Arkansas. It’s been cloudy all day today, and more storms are expected tomorrow. I’ll just sit and look at our mantel and dream that our home is filled with the scent of cut flowers.
Some places in Arkansas, and bordering states, have had tornadoes tonight. I’m praying for those who were affected by tonight’s weather.
Thank you for stopping by to dream with me about flowers in bloom. laurie

I pinned this! I love the springy-ness of it coupled with the fact that it is still warm and calming and formal looking to boot.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
Beautiful Laurie- The flowers definitely bring in a spring vibe! I heard about the tornadoes this morning- such a shame. I hope your area wasn't affected.

Beautiful...I especially love the iris pic.
Your mantle looks fabulous. You really did a great job on it. Love all the flowers - they look really good and real.
Have a great week.

Beautiful job of decorating your mantle for spring. I love the flowers, they not only remind me of how much I have missed them during this long cold Winter, but that they soon will be blooming again (at least the ones that did not freeze out over the Winter).
The weather has been terrible everywhere, I so hope it changes soon. I love all the pretty flowers on your mantel, stunning. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me.
Your mantel looks gorgeous, Laurie! I think it looks great whether you use real or faux flowers. I tend to use faux in my house because the live things I've bought since we moved to Ohio have died on me. I guess I lost my green thumb as far as house plants are concerned!
Laurie,
Simply Stunning!!
Hugs,
Deb
