Right now, the weather in Arkansas is perfect for outdoor dining. It’s pleasantly warm, but it isn’t too hot yet. So, we carried our wicker trays, covered in yellow print napkins, to the back porch to eat.
My watering can napkin rings were a win on a blog several years ago. Aren’t they fun? I bought the floral napkins at a sidewalk sale at the Williams Sonoma Outlet years ago, and the solid yellow napkins, bordered in rick rack, were from a Pier One sale one time.
I always hope that these dinner plates (Studio Nova, Country Lyric) will inspire us to do some yard work. I’ve told you that my sweetheart and I are doing a lot of campaigning right now, so we feel lucky if we get to sit down to eat. This year, the yard will have to wait until after the election next month.
I had some flowers on the table for Easter, and I plopped some of them into a flower pot for this table.
I hope your weather is nice enough for outdoor dining. For some reason, the food just tastes better when we’re dining outdoors. I’m so thankful for this beautiful weather. Thanks for stopping by. laurie

What a happy table, Laurie! Love all the yellow linens against the buffalo checkered tablecloth. The plates are adorable...and the Noritake blue swirl glassware is one of my favorites.
