HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I warned you that my New Year’s mantel was wild and crazy. A couple of years ago, I purchased a box of vintage New Year’s hats at an estate sale, and now they are decorating our mantel.

Even though these photos look like we’ve already had a celebration, my sweetheart and I welcomed 2013 (doesn’t that sound weird?) with a very quiet night at home.

Gives everyone something to look forward to after the Christmas letdown. And a quiet New Year's night at home sounds festive enough for me, absolutely better than facing the crowds downtown.
