As you can see, I replace them with New Year’s hats, beads, leis, and streamers.
I’ve always said that I love to decorate for New Year’s, because I think New Year’s décor can be wild and crazy, and that’s kind of the way my decor rolls on a regular basis.

You have so much energy, Laurie! It's a super fun idea to change up the Christmas decor with New Year's items. I am planning to take down my tree tomorrow. Some of the vignettes will come down over the next two weeks.
And I remember you saying you just let the grandkids pretty much anything on the tree to decorate it. Fun, fun, fun!...Christine

My hubby and I are both praying for your grandson. I know each day is critical. Well...I don't know if I have ever seen someone change the decorations on the tree for New Years but I love it! You always do everything right! Can't wait to see the mantle! Happy New Year my friend!
My christmas things are packed away on boxing day, this year it was a bit later but a new years tree thats different, it's a nice idea
