CHRISTMAS OVER THE STOVE

In the stove alcove in our kitchen, there are two shelves.  I’m sure you’re not surprised that there are Christmas decorations on those shelves.

I am linking to Table Top Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life.  Please keep our grandson in your prayers.  He was born four months early and weighed one pound, 14 ounces.  He’s doing great for such a small baby, but we know we have a long road ahead of us.  His six and nine year old sisters are staying with us, because their parents are at the hospital with the baby, and it is three hours from our home.  My blog posts my be sporadic for awhile.  Thank you for coming to see me and for prayers for our new grandson.  laurie

Laurie, we will be praying for that dear grandson. Of course this is a time for your family and the sweet responsibility you have now for his big sisters. Your granddaughters may always remember this time at your house as they watch you make the house even lovelier for Christmas. May each week toward Christmas bring him even closer to being able to some day come home. Take care.

I love your Christmas kitchen, and especially the Dickens figurines.

Why I'm not surprised at all! LOL
I'm delighted instead.

My favorite part of all is the nook shelf on top with the Dickens characters and plates, but I think the whole thing is just plain enchanting.

You should give home tours at Christmas, especially for little ones. They would think they were in Santa's workshop.

BTW, I keep forgetting to say this: You mentioned email sign up or whatever for my blog. I think I DO have that. It's just near the bottom of the page.
