STILL IN A DAZE

My back-to-school daze, which began with my mantel on my last post, continues with a tablescape on the “teacher’s desk” for a self-serve hors deserves party I hosted.  (Photos taken before I filled the “cafeteria trays” with hors deserves.)

Hi Laurie! What a fun idea for a tablescape. Love your teacher's desk idea. The trays and all the school accents are fabulous! It must be hard going to sleep at night with that creative mind of yours...

So cute Laurie -- You're a "class act" for sure. Hope all your grands have a wonderful school year and we look forward to all the upcoming celebrations at "party central".

I just scrolled through this twice to catch all the details. Your details are my favorite thing about your style, things like that single apple on the pedestal and the napkins in the homework box. Both made it look just like a teachers desk. (And I've sat behind my share of them!) I absolutely love the idea of the cafeteria trays to serve the hors d'oeuvres!
