THERE’S A NIP IN THE AIR

Must be time for Laurie to change her mantel décor again.  Yep, if the temperatures change, so does my mantel (and sometimes even if the temperatures don’t change).  It’s my favorite thing to change (no heavy lifting involved, and no husband wondering where his favorite chair has gone, but probably a few bloggers moaning “not again”).

I just love seasons of abundance.  Although my mantel (and everywhere else in my house) looks this cluttered all of the time, between now and New Year’s, people seem more indulgent of a clutterrer (I know it’s not a word, but it should be).

Thank you so much for stopping by to see what I am cluttering up now.  Laurie

Hi Laurie, I love your fall mantle. The pumpkins stacked on the candlestick, the wheat and all those darling acorns are just too cute for words.. The guy in the middle stole my heart.. had to giggle about your hubby trying to find his chair.. Mr. P used to say cute things like that years ago..

Love your autumn mantle. I'm in the process of unboxing my fall decor. I've got the mantle done and working on the other "bits and pieces". Things are looking very fun and seasonal at your home. I love going through the holidays and seasons and seeing what appears and pops up around your happy home.

Oh I love your fall decor; I have just begun to pull some of mine out and now after this last long weekend of town festivities for our 65th Applefest, I need to get busy. But then we are traveling again in Oct. so I don't have long to do so. Your rearraging inspires me. I love fall.

Gorgeous! You'll never hear me say "not again." Your mantel changes are one of my favorite things you do around this place. You are the reason that I keep trying to change mine. I'm getting ready to tackle it for fall. If you don't see a post, it will probably because I end up thinking "meh" as usual.

Not sure how you spell that word, but it's the international code word for "not stunning".

Yours? Stunning! I love that urn on the right the best of all.

Hi darling, I'm so glad you popped by. Like old times. :-)) It's been a whirl wind around here, I think I'm finally getting back in the swing of things as far as blogging goes.. we'll see.. each day is a new day and sometimes each hour.
I'm glad you enjoyed the tour of Mary Carol's home, girl it was a day out I won't forget for a long time.. now that I'm grounded I have those memories and photos to go back and look at over and over again. lol. You do have to practice self control when you go, I was a very good girl that day.
Back to realiy.. hugs ~lynne~
