MEET ME AT THE PATCH, PUMPKIN

full tbl China Pattern:  Certified International © Pamela Gladding
I served a green salad in the bowls and spaghetti with meat sauce in the deep square plates.  I don’t think Mrs. Robinson (my high school home economics teacher) ever told us about the placement of the pasta spoon, so feel free to let me know if I have placed it incorrectly.

For the salad course, I replaced the tree with pumpkin mugs filled with a choice of  salad dressings. salad course
Dessert was ice cream and cookies, so the cookies became my centerpiece. dessert course
I fell in love with these trick-or-treater ornaments at an estate sale.  As you can see on my serving table, I also liked the boxes they came in!est sl orn

Laurie, you manage to find the cutest things! I would have fallen in love with those trick or treater ornaments too. They are adorable and my favorite part.

I basically enjoyed it all,though... from the dinnerware to the cute polkadotted napkins with pumpkin rings.

Just an all around great looking table!

Loved seeing your Halloween theme table setting. You do a lot better than I could when it comes to remembering where I bought things, as I have had some things for so long. Spaghetti and salad sounds so good.

It is darling Laurie. Now that I have seen your kitchen I am comfortable in knowing where you keep all these goodies. I guess that means I am terribly nosey...please pardon me. hugs♥olive

Hi, Laurie! I wouldn't worry to much about the "proper" placement of the pasta spoon on such a fun table. Mrs. Robinson would be pleased that you put so much effort into making the dining experience so much fun!

Laurie- What absolute fun you must have had designing this tablescape!! I like how you changed out the centerpiece with the food items you were serving. Clever, clever.... I would probably have been shoving things around to make room. *grin*
Of course, the ornaments are so sweet, too. Fantastic themed table, my friend!

Laurie, your table is darling! I love that you remember your home ec teacher, because I do, too. Mine was a real stickler -- my seam ripper got a major workout as I struggled to make my first dress. Back to your table -- you really chose some wonderful pieces to delight the eye!

What a gorgeous table. Thank you for mentioning my pumpkin painting. Oh, I love your new header! This time of year is fun, but you must be over the moon enjoying your Grand kids. What is Halloween without little ones around?

Happy Monday.
