DUTCH DAY TEA PARTY

Dutch Day is finally here! (Of course, if you read my post last week, you know that I made up “Dutch Day”, so it can be any day I pick, and I pick today). Let’s celebrate!

full tbl

TILE MOS

TWO TRAYS

SHOE-PLATES

TEA CUP MOS

FULL TBL 2

Everything on the table came from an estate sale or from my mother, with the exception of the vintage dish towel in the center of the table and the tea cup set. I recently ordered both of those from a great Etsy – Sweet European Dreams.  So everything on this table is 2nd Time Around.

I am joining Lady Katherine Tea Parlor for Tea Time Tuesday, A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday, and A Picture is Worth 1000 Words for 2nd Time Around Tuesday. Don’t miss all of the fun in Blogville today. Be sure to click on these blog names to find wonderful links.

Thank you for coming to celebrate Dutch Day with me. I bet we were the only people in the world who celebrated this historic event! laurie

This is fabulous, Laurie! Are you of Dutch heritage? I grew up in a Dutch community but my background is French/German. I will be joining some of my high school classmates (class of '73) at Pella's Tulip Time next week! I hope to get lots of pics of the beautiful tulips as well some goodies from Vander Ploeg's and Jaarsma's bakeries - I can't wait!!!
Happy Dutch Day!

So lovely! That gorgeous tea towel in the center grounds everything so well. I LOVE those glass and silver cups -- have never seen anything like them! I have a similar blue and white vase and love how you've used it in that floral arrangement.
