About this time every year, Gertie throws a party at our house and she's invited you. I apologize for so many photos. Gertie threatened to throw me into her stew pot if I didn't post a picture of everything.

I've worked so hard getting ready for the party, I had to have Borris, the butler, get me a stool for my aching feet.

I've spent days getting the ingredients for the stew. It's my ancestors' recipe. As you can see, some of them weren't very careful about keeping it away from the flames.

It took me hours to decorate the table. Oh, my poor feet.

Go ahead and get a plate. I'm serving buffet style, because my feet would scream at me if I stood up to serve you.

Get some stew. Just take that spoon from "the hand". The rest of the body cooked in the stew. He tried to climb out, but only his hand escaped. Don't you think I'm fortunate the hand was saved, so it could stir the stew for me?

I don't know why I have so much trouble keeping my ingredients in the pot. Do you mind pushing that rat back into the stew?

Did you notice Mr. Bones climbing up the chandelier to keep out of the stew? Don't worry, I'll get him in the next stew pot.

Help yourself to some seasoning. I have two daughters, and I silver-plated their baby hats to use for salt and pepper. Aren't I clever?

Would you like some spirits?

I don't mean to brag, but our house wine is excellent.

I'm blushing. You've found my other creation. The cheese ball server is an exact replica of my legs.

I am a genius. I had one of my daughter's baby shoes made into knives.

Would you like me to tell your fortune? I've borrowed Laurie's grandmother's tarot cards.

If you prefer, I can look into my crystal ball to predict your future.

Why yes, my cupcakes do have spider legs. And how observant you are to notice the devil feet and tail on my cake stand.

I like this cake stand because I can eat as many cupcakes as I want and not feel guilty. I just tell myself the devil made me do it.

Would you like to go on a ride with me?

My broom is parked at the other end of the table. What's that? You're too frightened? No need for fear. I'm the flyer's ed teacher for all the young witches.

You might find my control tower interesting. I can keep an eye on all the new flyers.

There's Lolly on her first solo flight around-the-world. She's doing well as she passes the moon.

Uh Oh! Some of these little rascals want to play with their friends instead of practicing their driving. I'll have to punish them by making them sweep my house with their brooms instead of flying them.

There's Matilda. She's an older witch who never learned to fly. She wants me to teach her, but she wants to fly a broom that belonged to her grandmother, and I'm worried that it will break down on her. It's hard to find a good mechanic for those old brooms.

Did you spot Lantana up there in the tree? She's my coward. Every day, she climbs up the tree but never gets the courage to take off on her broom.

Oh no! A broom without a pilot. That looks like Sadie's broom. How many times have I told that girl to not text while flying. I do hope she had a soft landing.

Here's Borris with your party favors. Borris, what perfect treats for YOU to hand out. Despicable Me candy handed out by Despicable Borris! He-He-He-He.
Thank you for coming to the party.

This post is partying with  Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch and Hauntingly Beautiful Halloween Decor at Follow the Yellow Brick Road

What fun! I have Boris's sneaky twin brother. His name is Rhett and he will be serving my Goddess girlfriends Saturday afternoon at my Witches Ball/Broom race/Ice Cream Social???? I will have to say one thing for him. He is a man of few words. Gertie is wonderful. I have a flying witch at my house. My hubby made mine soar over the driveway. I illuminate her at night. She has never introduced herself, so I just call her Hildy.....short for Broomhilda. There are plans to relocate her to another part of the yard, as I think she would look spectacular soaring over the graveyard.

Now this is one fun post! I love the old shoes as witch shoes! And, the skeleton knew very well where to hide in the chandy! I would have missed him if you wouldn't have pointed him out which is amazingly fun. I love to hide little things in my holiday decor and see if kids can find them. Thank you so much for linking up to Hauntingly Beautiful Decor Halloween link party. I just shared my Halloween post too, which I think you will like. I will be back later to read through your fun post again. So much to see!
