If you’ve been visiting my blog for awhile, you already know that my husband is a fan of cowboys. So, for Valentine’s Day breakfast, I am planning a breakfast tray in bed to start my buckaroo off right. Sausage, biscuits, and hash browns will be served on this unmarked, divided plate,
Orange juice will fill his cowboy stem.
Since he’ll have to drink his o.j. from a kind of dainty stem, I think the least I can do is give him his coffee in his John Wayne mug,
with a masculine John Wayne quote on the back.
A miniature Roy Rogers lunchbox and thermos will provide salt and pepper.
Since it is Valentine’s Day, I’ll throw in some sweet little conversation hearts.
And a cowboy boot will present him with his Valentine card.
Since all of my egg cups looked a little feminine with this cowboy setting, I’m using a Jack Daniels reversible jigger for his egg.
He can dab his mouth with a cowboy napkin,
while he chows down on breakfast in bed.
My sweetheart deserves breakfast in bed once a year. Actually, he deserves breakfast every morning, but, since I’m always rushing to get ready for work, he doesn’t ever get breakfast from me, so this should be a real treat for him.
Wishing you a happy Valentine’s Day! If someone doesn’t do something special for you, be sure to do something special for yourself, because you are worth it. laurie

How darn cute is that? I can remember back in my childhood watching Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. I had a cute cowgirl outfit and have that picture still of me in it. My grandparents bought it for me.
