This is the time of the year when I really enjoy the few flowers we have growing in our yard. It takes this long for our blooms to fill out and really show their beauty.
Cutting a few to bring inside brightens my days.
Plopping a few daisies into a vase just brings sunshine inside the house.
Even though they don’t last long inside, I love to clip a few flowering branches from our Crepe Myrtles and stuff them into a pitcher.
Delicate roses in a teapot make me happy.
Sometimes, I don’t even cut the flowers. I bring the entire pot inside. I used this potted Mandevilla on a table for a dessert meeting in our home. I’ll share the rest of that table later.
Next week, I’ll be joining some fabulous blogs for a week-long party. So many bloggers are having a wonderful time at the Haven Bloggers’ Conference in Atlanta. Some of us who aren’t able to attend, are having a Getting Creative at Home party, posting our favorite past projects. You won’t want to miss these, so be sure to check back Monday for links.
This is a great opportunity to see some great projects, browse new blogs and make some new blog friends. It's almost like being a part of the Haven Conference. Plus, it's FREE!
I am linking to Seasonal Sundays at The Tablescaper.
