I previously shared my mantel, decorated for our New Year’s celebration. Another of our traditions (we are big on traditions) is to leave the lights on the Christmas trees after I remove the Christmas ornaments. We then throw (I’m serious) New Year’s hats, streamers, beads, etc. onto the trees and turn them into New Year’s trees.
