ALMOST FALL TABLESCAPE

It’s one of those in-between times of the year – too late for Summer tables, and a little too early for Fall tables, so this is kind of an in-between tablescape -- not too summery, but not really an autumn table either – a mixture of  fruits and flowers.Almost Autumn Dinner-Bargain Hunting with Laurie

I purchased the hand painted salad plates at an estate sale long ago.

I purchased the dinner plates at a charity tag sale over 20 years ago.  (Apple Blossom, Ridgways, England)

Green depression glass plate (estate sale).  I can’t remember where I got the chargers or the flatware.

Some things on this table were NOT from an estate sale!  I think the napkins were from Williams Sonoma Outlet.  I bought the napkin rings at a resale store, and the green iced tea goblets were the “every day pattern” we selected when we married.  I think I got the quilted yellow placemats at a Kohl’s sale. I always think of Tickseed as kind of an in between Summer and Fall flower.  I put them in a jug that I ordered from One Kings Lane last year.  (This jug normally lives on our fireplace hearth.)

Divided vegetable server from another estate sale (unmarked).  Yes, I go to a lot of estate sales.  I love the farm scenes on this server.

Salt and pepper shakers (yes, another estate sale;  I’m starting to sound like a broken record.)

This set of salt and pepper shakers belonged to my Mother.
