KITCHEN AND VILLAGE CHRISTMAS DECOR

Christmas decor in the kitchen begins with candy hanging from the chandelier.

In the range alcove, I've displayed Christmas plates and a set of figures from Scrooge's nightmare.

The second shelf in the stove alcove is all about Christmas candy (maybe Scrooge ate too much Christmas candy and that's what caused his nightmare!)

Our kitchen hutch displays vintage Christmas cards and elves who've been around a lot longer than Elf on the Shelf.

A candy-themed Christmas tree brings the decor to the kitchen island. (With constant reminders of Christmas candy everywhere, I guess it's not surprising that I always gain weight during the holidays.)

Villagers have moved into our game room.

They've even taken up residence on the bookshelves.

Vintage village-themed cards line the mantel shelf.

My mother's little Scrooge characters are roaming the streets in front of the "village" Christmas cards.

Tartan Town fills the top of the dresser on the other side of the room.

Can you believe I've posted two days in a row? Not bad for someone who has "stopped blogging"!
Thank you for coming to see more of my "Gloria in Excess"!
