THANKSGIVING MANTEL

A big Fall welcome to our visitors. This banner decorates our mantel every Fall. It was a long-ago birthday gift from my daughter.

We are thankful for our abundant blessings, so we have created an abundant mantel.

Faux fruit, leaves, and a leaf-shaped plate decorate the end of the mantel.

I added a grape-gathering girl figure, a pitcher with a Fall leaf motif, and a painted glass pear.

On the opposite end, I've used more faux fruit and leaves, another leaf-shaped plate, and a fruit-gathering boy figure.

There's a "corn" pitcher and a painted glass apple on this end.

The needlepoint cornucopia was an estate sale purchase several years ago, and the metal "In Everything Give Thanks" sign was a gift from a friend.

The hearth is ready for Thanksgiving too.

We appreciate you stopping in to see our fireplace decor.

You always have the most beautiful decor! I no longer have a mantel or sideboard... only a hutch to decorate, and a few small tables... but oh, it was fun while it lasted :-) I will get a vicarious thrill from you!
