Welcome to our back door. I've decorated it for Halloween, because this is where the trick-or-treaters ring the doorbell and shout "trick-or-treat".
You may notice my witchy pumpkins as you enter what I (while laughing) refer to as a courtyard! I know there's no yard, but I wanted a courtyard, so it makes me happy to call this the courtyard.
Recently, one of our granddaughters amputated this poor witch's arm, and the amputated arm has now been lost!
The pumpkin farmer is on his way to the market.
I hope he sells a lot of pumpkins, because he obviously needs a new truck.
I hope he doesn't see the pumpkin farmer on the other side of the door. Apparently, he's earned enough for a newer truck (I tried to make the poor guy in the rusted truck feel better by telling him that this farmer is probably drowning in debt).
I plopped faux leaves and a faux pumpkin into a vintage Bartlett Pear crate.
I hope I can keep my mums alive through Thanksgiving!
My faux tree on one side of the door is wearing a witch hat. I may be stealing it from the tree to wear on Halloween night.
The tree on the other side of the door displays a "bootoyou" sign.
The ghosts beside the doors have a blinking light up head at night. As you can see, they are also great bug catchers.
Each year, my grands come over and decorate a small pumpkin to take home with them. As the grandchildren have gotten older, they have cheer leading practice and games, soccer and softball practice and games, school dances (yikes!) and a lot of church youth activities. We have it scheduled for Friday. I'm going to miss their pumpkins lined up on the wall.
The front door is all about Fall.
I'm counting the wet leaves on the porch as Fall decor! Actually, I fit this photo shoot in after a rain, and it looked like we were going to get some more, so I didn't have time to sweep up the leaves. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
Thank you for your visit. I hope you enjoyed our outdoor decor.

So festive and really nice, Laurie!....Christine
It all looks so charming! I don't like autumn leaves all cleaned up - they are part of the decor!
