Do you decorate for St. Patrick's Day? Y'all know I'm a decorating fool, but before I had a blog, I never decorated for the Irish day.
After all, I'm not Irish. But when St. Patrick's Day rolled around and other non-Irish people were showing their décor, I realized you don't have to be Irish to decorate for St. Patrick's.
Yippeee! Another holiday that I could celebrate with decorations. The table topper was in a bag of linens that I bought at an estate sale years ago. I used bright green metal chargers, topped by white Gibson dinner plates. On top of that, I resorted to my trick of using a paper plate under the clear glass salad dish. The salad dishes belonged to my mother.
I love these emerald green stems that I bought at an estate sale a few years ago, but there were only four of them, so I had to use clear glass stems on each end of the table. I used milk glass water goblets (also from an estate sale).
Green Depression Glass compotes (guess what, they are from an estate sale) served salad dressing.
These salt and pepper shakers are Irish mushrooms. (That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.)
I think I paid ten cents each
at Dirt Cheap for the little Irish buckets. I have faux Irish roses in them. (that's my story...)

Top o' the day to ye, Lads and Lassies. Twas good of you to stop in on this sunny Irish day.
This post is partying with Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch and Share It One More Time at Lilacs and Longhorns.

How cute! I love the green stems. Something about drinking out of a pretty glass just makes me feel good
Very pretty green dishes. Where do you keep all your dishes? You have so many. Loved all you pretty Valentine's decoration.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Mary
Your table is wonderfully charming. Just perfect for celebration. I am Irish and would love to sit at your table!
Oh what a fun and cheerful table! I love to decorate for it - they say everyone is Irish on St. Patricks Day- love the little mushroom salt and peppers!
You have outdone yourself. You always have the best linens and such lovely dishes and glassware. I want to go shopping with you. It must have taken a long time to collect all of these lovely things! I am waiting to take my Valentine decor down and then all the lights and stuff will go out.
I love this. I'm looking around for some green things to do an Irish Tablescape.
