FRIDAY FAVES 05/29/15

DIY Citronella Mason Jar Candles The Everyday Home Blog www.everydayhomeblog.com (14)

Unfortunately, there are a lot of mosquitoes where I live.  I will definitely be trying this tutorial to make Citronella candles.  And aren't they pretty? Please remember to click on the site name under the image to share or pin from the original source.

A lot of us are tired of all of the rain.  Maybe if we all make one of these signs for our home, the rain will go away. I'm about ready to try anything to bring out the sun.

NoSewTableRunner4

Do you need a table runner for Independence Day (or any other time)?  I like this tutorial for this pretty, no sew runner. (Of course, I like anything that is "no sew".)

adding a shelf to mirror

I never think to do something like this.  A mirror and shelf are married to make a lovely display space.

Isn't this a great bench for a narrow space? I love the way she painted the seat.

Honey Cocktail Recipes for Summer Drinks

How about a honey cocktail on a hot day (if it ever stops raining). Veva el Verano (Long live Summer).

In case you missed it, this week, I shared eight tablescapes for outdoor dining in the Summer,

and my "new-to-me" $25.00 Hitchcock chairs.

I love it when you visit.  Have a great weekend.

Hi Laurie, I've missed seeing your smiling face (real estate is keeping me busy!! ) so I popped over to say hi and saw this about mosquitos. We have plenty of those varmints in Roseville CA too and I just read that planting Rosemary plants can also work as a deterrent - and smells so good! Have a happy and bite-free-ish summer :)
