I can't believe that Easter will be here so quickly. Did your Mother always tell you that the older she got, the faster time flew? When my Mother said it, I really didn't "get" it. After all, the hands on the clock seemed to be turning at the same rate they always did. (Yes, clocks used to have hands!)
Well, I finally get it! (Are you listening, Mother? You were right. Time is not only flying; it is zooming!)
Bunnies hopped onto our mantel; planted grass; and plopped decorated eggs everywhere. The green flower bunny was a gift from my friend, Susie, a couple of years ago. I ordered the pink wood cutouts from the Martha Stewart site when they went on sale a few years ago.
Remember the year when almost everyone in Blogville had at least one of the flying bunnies from Pier 1? Of course, I, who never get rid of anything, am still using mine.
Most of the eggs are reproductions, but the bunnies did bring a few vintage eggs to mix in with the newer eggs.
I guess the flying bunnies tied these eggs to my lamps.
A few years ago, I ordered this Easter banner from an Etsy.
Temperatures are warming here, and the jonquils have started blooming. Even though time is flying, Spring seems to be arriving sloooowly. Thank you for coming to see what the busy bunnies have been doing at our house. Have a good week.
This post is partying with Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch, Inspire Me Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life, Tweak it Tuesday at Cozy Little House, and You’re Gonna Love It Tuesday at Kathe with an E.
