THANKSGIVING TABLE THOUGHTS

THANKSGIVING TABLESCAPE

I'm re-posting one of our Thanksgiving tables from 2012.  We host about 30 people for Thanksgiving dinner, so I have a lot of tables to post!

Pewter turkey napkin holders were used to secure the plaid napkins.

I love these dinner plates.  Each plate has a different scene.  I previously posted the different scenes on these plates.  You can go here to see each scene.

In 2012, this table was set in our sunroom.  I can scrunch 8 people in at this table.

Elements of the centerpiece included gourds in a wheel barrow and deer sheds and leaves on a tray.

Dessert was served in vintage green Depression Glass compotes.

Turkey Day will be here before we know it, so I'd better start thinking about this year's tablescapes.    Are you thinking about Thanksgiving yet?  Thanks so much for visiting.

I’m partying at Centerpiece Wednesday at The Style Sisters and Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch

That was a fabulous table Laurie! Love the dishes, pewter turkeys and how you did the centerpiece. I bet you are already planning for this year's event! I've only thought about Thanksgiving a bit mostly because of all the catalogs that keep coming in!

Gorgeous table laurie! I have a few pieces of that green depression glass to and if I ever get rid of them they're yours. I love them but I can never figure out how to use them. and you did it perfectly!

Great table, Laurie. When were stationed in England and touring the pottery factories, I saw the most beautiful tableware with a turkey in the middle. I debated whether I should buy it but decided to pass. Biggest regret of all time. Take care. PS did you receive my email?
