As I said on Facebook the other day, I hope there is a strong (and good-looking) fireman down there, waiting to catch me, because I’m still Falling at my house.
I’ve added Fall colors to the shelf above the range alcove in our kitchen. Most of the Quimperware remained on the shelf, but a garland of leaves topped the shelf for a Fall look. Pumpkins, dried Hydrangeas, and dried leaves gave the Quimper the look of Fall.
A leaf-raking child tops a Good Housekeeping cookie tin.
I tried every spot in the front entryway to take a picture without a glare and a lot of reflection in the mirror, but I was obviously unsuccessful.
This boy is carrying Fall color into our house.
More Fall color hangs on the mirror behind him. The only “glass marker” I could find around the house was a pink color. If I find a Fall colored marker before Christmas, I’ll try to change the writing on the mirror But, if the search goes like searches normally go at my house, I will find a Fall colored marker in the Spring. If I want the word “Fall” to be an appropriate color, I may have to break down and buy a new set of glass markers.
It was so good of you stop in to visit.
I’m partying with Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch, Inspire Me Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life, and You’re Gonna Love It Tuesday at Kathe with an E.

Laurie, you are a hoot! I would normally find things like the fall glass marker in spring, also. I guess I have too much stuff. Love your home in the fall. It loves fall too! If you find that fireman, introduce me, will ya?
Everything looks lovely Laurie! When I saw the boy statue with the fall leaves and pumpkins I thought of Tom Sawyer!
Hi Laurie, your home is gorgeous for fall. I love the upper shelf areas with the garland. Love the little boy statue. The pink marker adds a bit of fun to the glass. I would find a marker in spring too!! LOL
Thank you for the inspiration in your decor.
Hugs for a great week.
XO
Hi Laurie, Love all your fall decor and especially your humor.
fondly ~lynne~
Haven't started "falling" here yet, so enjoy seeing what you've done. Just returned from France on Friday and trying to catch up on sleep and return to a normal schedule.
Happy "Falling"
Laurie, you are so fun and I love all your fall decor.
Pretty ! Really like your the chandelier.
No Fall decor here.
You are "falling" quite nicely. I haven't pulled out one bin yet!
You totally have all going on in your house. I have a few pumpkins.....does that count?
