Our back porch is getting her 4th of July décor. There are four rockers on our back porch, two on each end. This is one-half of the porch.
There is a patriotic little boy on the table on this side of the porch, and a tin depicting a patriotic puppy.
If you’d rather sit in these rockers, you can move to the other side of the porch.
There is a patriotic bear on this table.
Our temporary patriotic pillows are napkins wrapped around pillows, secured in the corners with rubber bands.
Red, white, and blue ribbons cover the rubber bands.
Since I will be working Monday through Thursday, I needed to get some decorating done on the weekend. We’ve had sooo much rain lately, so I put some of the porch décor’ in the windows inside the sunroom. This lighted star is hanging in one window.
Even my vintage ladder got dressed for the holiday.
If we feel like waving a flag, we can grab one from this basket.
If we want to show our patriotism in a bigger way, we can grab a flag from this bucket.
You may have noticed the patriotic tumblers on the brick ledge. No, those are not our drinks. That is our line of defense - citronella candles to keep the mosquitoes away. (It may be wishful thinking, but I can optimistically hope, right? I have a “glass half full” personality – pun intended.)
Are you ready to celebrate the 4th? I’m so glad you came by to see some of our red, white, and blue. laurie

I love how you decorate for every holiday. How you have time to do it, amazes me. It looks beautiful and I love the idea of wrapping the cushions in napkins.
Happy Independence Day, Laurie. this is so nice, so patriotic!...Christine
Such a happy festive porch to enjoy celebrating the 4TH. fondly ~lynne~
Love your porch!
Oh Laurie,
What a super patriotic porch! You've outdone yourself, even to the point of scaring off the mosquitoes. Thanks for making Blue Monday special.
I'm looking forward to reading your comment on my blue post. Please come back.
Happy Blue Monday!
Now that's a patriotic porch!! Love it all.

Oh now I feel like such a slacker! Time to get the red, white and blue going! Your porch is a Welcome to the USA!

Laurie, I always love to see your patriotic decor! Your porch is so pretty and festive. I am sure your family will enjoy spending the holiday with you!
Oh Laurie I love your thrifty décor. Great idea on covering the pillows to make them festive. And so smart on those bug candles.
Thanks for sharing. I tried to link my Blue post today but it wasn't working. I hope you'll come by anyway and see me!
Have a great 4th. I am following you now I enjoyed visiting!
Hi Laurie, your porch is so inviting and festive for the holiday. I can see many a happy time spent enjoying the celebration from your porch.
Love how you covered the pillows. You are so creative and talented. I am so behind on a patriotic post but one is coming soon.
Have a great week.
Hugs
Your porch looks very 4th of July ready, Laurie! The chairs look very comfy with those pillows. I love your "patriotic boy".
I like all your decorating Laurie! I'd love to have rockers like that. Looks like you're all ready for the holiday weekend! I think citronella helps- the smell tricks them so they can't find you as easily. You kind of need a ring around the area your trying to be out in to really trick them!
Oh I love this Laurie!
Your porch makes me smile with all it's patriotic goodness.
You have such a great eye and your decorating is always some of my fave.
Happy 4th to you and your lovely family too,
Cindy
A very inviting patriotic porch! Have a great 4th of July!

I hope you don't take this in a creepy stalker way, but I would love to visit your home and be able to just walk from space to space. It would be like visiting a wonderful store. Your porch looks wonderful. Right now? Ours is dead empty. It's bugging me, but I have been having some work done on the outside and have discovered that I will need new furniture there now. It's always something...
Love your patriotic display and front porch decorations!
