I love estate sales in the Spring. It’s not too hot nor too cold to comfortably check out the goodies. Recently, we had one in an historical home in our town. You know I went (all three days). Would you like to check it out with me?
The first day of the sale, everything was marked way too high for my budget. There were so few people shopping that day that I knew they’d have to really start lowering the prices the next day.
I was really glad there weren’t many people there when they allowed me to take pictures. Look at the pretty molding in the dining room.
There is a fireplace in almost every room of this house.
This little fireplace is in the kitchen.
Another advantage of Springtime estate sales – doesn’t the backyard look pretty after a Spring shower of petals?
I’m glad you came with me to tour this home. laurie

What a lovely home. Thanks for the tour...
What a pretty home! Yes - I can tell there is a lot of pricey items there.
Was out and about most of day and saw a sign for a sale and thought I would run by later - later was to late as the signs were gone. I did not need anything anyway. :/
Looking forward to another beautiful day tomorrow.
I like so much of this, the drinks cabinet, the piano are both spectacular. What did you buy?
What a spectacular home filled with treasures. And the backyard looks amazing.
Super to have you at Seasonal Sundays.

Thanks for the tour...magnificent house...what is the kitchen like, Laurie? That Eastlake type bed is gorgeous.
Laurie, looks like a lovely property. I'd have taken home several of the blue and white pieces. Also admire the twin beds. '-)
Do we get to see what went home with you?

Those beds were really ornate. I would like one though. Maybe mix it up with some plainer dressers. Thanks for sharing Laurie.
