THE LAST OF THE VALENTINE CARDS (I think)

If you’re tired of seeing my Valentine card collection, you can now rejoice, because this is my last Valentine card décor post this year (I’m almost sure).  I am partying at A Stroll Thru Life for Table Top Tuesday.
BFT
I really only have a few cards displayed on the buffet behind our sofa.

Q OF HRTS
You can’t count the Queen of Hearts as a Valentine card, right?
K OF HRTS
Anything placed on this buffet is visible from both sides, so, the Queen of Hearts is backed by the King of Hearts (also not a Valentine card).

I previously shared my “snow birds mantel”.  I wasn’t ready to let my snow birds fly away, so, guess what I added to decorate my mantel for Valentine’s Day.  I’m sure you guessed correctly.  (I’m so predictable.)   I added Valentine cards!

dove cards

I also added Mr. and Miss Penguin, dressed for their Valentine’s date.

I hope I’ll see you here for my Valentine party on February 11th!  I’m almost finished with my blog overload of Valentine cards, so please do come back to visit soon.

(Update on our grandson, Cooper:  He is improving daily.  Although he’s still on oxygen and will be for months, all of his signs are really good.  Recently, one of the nurses in the ICU remarked to my son, “I don’t know who you have praying for this baby, but tell them to keep it up, because they are doing an incredible job!”  YOU and GOD are doing an incredible job, so as the nurse said, please keep it up!  Thank you so much.  laurie)

That's such a good report of Cooper. What a strong little fighter he is. I keep him in my prayers. And I love your beautiful collection of Valentines. You always decorate so beautifully for every holiday. Mr and Mrs. Penguin are sweet!

Laurie, so happy to hear this upbeat news about Cooper. This little guy is a fighter! ;-)
Love Mr. and Mrs. Penguin in their fine attire. And just so you know, you are responsible for me bringing home two vintage valentines today. LOL I had an appointment that got postponed, so when I found myself with a bit of "found" time, I went to the antique mall. Both are mechanical with moving parts and are adorable!

As every thing you do and share, remarkable. We are snow birding along the MS Gulf shores and it seems Valentines Day plays far behind Mardi Gras; so much green/gold/and purple decor around here. I talked hubby into stringing some globe lights across the windshield of the coach, just to get in the spirit kind of. That is positive about Cooper.

PS I love that angel that resembles a miniature marionette??

That's so encouraging about Cooper! Prayer and God! And all the love floating around in your home with the Valentines. And no, we're not getting tired of them, far from it. Beauty everywhere you look.

I am in love with your mantel and that sweet banner. I think the whole vignette with the bell jars and cards on your beautiful buffet is wonderful. I love the feel of everything!

Lots of pretty and cute Valentine decor here, Laurie. My favorites are the king and queen of hearts under the cloche and those adorable penguins. I have one little cloche set up and will have to join you for your Linky party again this year. :-) I'm glad to hear better news about your grandson.

Dear Laurie,
Certainly not tired of your precious Valentines. Wow, what a collection you have. Such fun. I love how you used the king and queen of hearts. Love how you made Valentine "belts" for your gals. Really enjoyed it all.

Oh Laurie, I'm so glad to read the update on little Cooper. That is such a huge praise of encouragement. I can't imagine how you must feel.

As always, I smiled my way through your valentine cards. Now... I know I've been away, but it seems that I have missed some of that signature Brad swooning I've come to association with your Valentine posts. Grin.
