A FALL STROLL ON MY COFFEE TABLE

I’m sharing a Fall tray on our coffee table.  I’m calling this tray, “while strolling through the woods one day”.

Some of you may have seen this cloche on a post I did for Marty’s cloche party.  I had the cloche on a table that is against the wall.

When I moved it to my coffee table, it could be seen from both sides.  Fortunately, I have two of these little French cottage canvases, so I put them back-to-back.

As you can see, I was taken by surprise by a pair of charming cottages, while strolling through the woods one day.ovrhd
This next photo is not on my coffee table, but I might have seen it while strolling through the woods.  When I showed these “cat tail” pumpkins in a previous post, some questioned whether or not they were real, and others thought I might have grown them myself (ha!).  It was explained to me that, during the growing season, the farmer goes out and twists the pumpkin stem to give it strength and length.  I bought mine at this roadside stand.

The next picture is two of my grands with face paintings of things you might find while strolling through the woods (okay, I’m stretching it here ~ just trying to tie my post together).  We had a Fall Chili Cookoff festival this past weekend, and there was an amazing face painter there.  I don’t know how the artist got these two to hold still long enough to do that.

I am linking to Table Top Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life.  So glad to have you along for the stroll today.  laurie

That is really pretty! I love the way you did the prints back to back like that in the cloche.

Of course, now I'm humming "While strolling through the park one day..."

Love the tray Laurie, so cute with the bell jar and tiny canvases. I used some antlers in a fall tray a few weeks ago too.

The coffee table basket is so perfect, Laurie, with the cloche, deer sheds and candles. Cute grandkids.

A very pretty Fall vignette! Those are some elaborate face paintings! I have seen a lot more of the pumpkins with the long stems this year.

Your centerpiece reminded me of when I was at my aunt's cottage. I would put together things from the woods and make a centerpiece for the little table. I loved doing that, even when I was 10!
