THE WILD AND THE NOT-SO-WILD

This weekend, I went to the woods and enjoyed the peace and beauty of God’s creation.

I also saw (and HEARD) Edgar Winter in concert.  Yes, he’s been around a loooong time.  When my sweetheart told a young girl that he was trying to get some of his album covers autographed, she wanted to know what an album cover was!

And I saw (and HEARD) a LOT of motorcycles.

When I finally returned to my quiet home (my ears still ringing), I cut flowers from my “not-so-wild” garden, and now I’m enjoying their beauty and fragrance inside our home.

What's an album cover???? Boy, does the younger generation try to make us feel old! Sounds like a really exciting weekend!

Sounds like you had a noisy, but enjoyable weekend. Your flowers are beautiful. That is funny about the album. When she gets our age, some kid may ask her what a CD is. :-D
Have a great week.

Laurie,
Sounds like a full weekend! I love to sit and enjoy nature and how the creation glorifies its wonderful Creator! It always restores me and invokes worship.
What a display of God's extravagant love for us.
Your peonies are wonderful. I only have a couple. I should check and see if they are blooming yet.
Your vignettes and furnishings are beautiful.

I would say that you're not old, but well... you are married to a man who has record albums. What can I say?
I guess you're old.
I guess I must be too.

Oh well.

And the flowers look wonderful in your home. I'm glad you had a WILD time!

Its the details of our lives I think that in some respects make the impact. Its only once in a while the big picture matters. I loves these photos of the details.
