STILL AUDITIONING

I’m still auditioning my house for the next Griswold Christmas movie.  I apologize for the number of photos in this post, but if my house has a shot at getting this movie, the directors have to see the volume and all the glory tackiness of our Christmas décor.  I also apologize for the photo quality.  For some reason (I can’t imagine why), my camera battery began to die!

Aren’t you glad the camera battery died before I got to the guest rooms?  I’m not sure if I’ll get my Christmas tablescapes posted before Christmas.  (I have GOT to start cooking now!)  If I don’t post before Christmas, I want to wish all of my wonderful blogging buddies a beautiful Christmas and New Year!  Thank you for your visits to my blog.

Fantabulous! You must not have slept a wink since Thanksgiving! I think after New Year's you'll need a "long Winter's nap!"

Your decorations are absolutely beautiful. I will have to share this post on one of mine. I just don't have the energy this year.
Still working on my tree!! I especially love your tree on the table in front of the hutch.

Dear Laurie,
It's a good thing I dont live next door..I would be making a house call with the largest purse I could find..I would 'borrow' many items I see among all your treasures hoping you would'nt miss a thing! Merry Christmas back to you! May you have the best holiday ever!
Enjoy the time....

I just love it. You make my collection look small, which means mine 'isn't there yet!' I LOVE all the vintage things you showed. You must be worn out from putting it all out. You should open your home up and charge admission! Then again, I'd be afraid something would get stolen! ;o) I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

Enjoyed seeing all your pretty and festive decor. I did very little decorating this year, but have really enjoyed visiting around and seeing what everyone else has done.

no! I am not glad your battery died. I was having a ball on my tour. I just loved every little detail and scrolled slowly so as not to miss one. I hope you give tours in real life because it's so wonderful that people would love to see it.

When I was little, there was a Christmas shop near our home. We used to go every year, and I thought it was like the North Pole or some kind of enchanted land. Your home reminds me of that place. I love it all.

I can't even begin to imagine how long it took you to do this. I find it seems to take longer to put things away "right." It is all beautiful and I know your family enjoys it.
