HAPPY NEW YEAR!

New Years is a wild and crazy holiday, so it’s the one time of the year that my wild and crazy decorating really fits in.  I was so excited when I recently found a box of vintage party hats and noise makers at an estate sale.  I purchased the box for $5, and most of the mess on my mantel came from that box.

It’s still Christmas in the rest of my house.  I’m waiting until Epiphany (or maybe later) to take down all of the other Christmas décor.  I hope it’s gone by Valentine’s Day! Wishing all of you wonderful people I’ve met in Blogville a blessed 2012!  See ya next year!  Laurie

Laurie, I think it's fantastic that you found this box of New Year's decorations. You find the most amazing things when you go to estate sales. Cute idea to have a New Year's Day tree.
Happy 2012 ~ Sarah

So glad you found that box so we can see the results of it!! You are amazing!

My white tree in the blue room fell over last night so it promptly got de-decorated and put away for the year-now for each of the other 6 trees to do the same thing so that it will make me get the stuff put away!

Happy new Year!
