A HALLOWEEN PARTY FOR THE LITTLES

I had a little Halloween party for my grandchildren.  I was inspired by a box.  When I ordered some dessert forks, I just couldn’t throw away the boxes without using them for  something.  (I know, I have a problem)

So…I used photos of my grands in their Halloween costumes and turned the boxes into place cards for the party table.

I should be ashamed to show you what else I haven’t thrown away lately, but you can see what I used to make faux “crackers” for the party favors.

Yep! I stuffed little favors inside toilet paper tubes, wrapped them with a napkin and tied ribbon on the ends.  Blinking jack-o-lantern bracelets became napkin rings that my guests could take home.

A lot of giggling accompanied our meal.

I’m so glad you joined me and my grands for our Halloween giggle fest.  laurie

It's good to see you here. I've missed your decorating vignettes! You have a real knack for it.

Now I know yet another reason why I'm so drawn to you. I can't throw things like boxes and paper rolls away either. (Around here, we call them "dooters" so named from the "doot do do dooooot" sound I make with them.)

I love the way you used that box. That was just plain CLEVER, and the crackers are plain perfect.

You're a fun grandma.
Period.

I love these ideas Laurie! It's so neat to think of the littles talking about things like this when they are old!

Remember when...

Oh, you are building lots and lots of them.
