Fresh tomatoes are one of my favorite red things.  I couldn’t resist posting a picture of them, so I put them on a blue and white platter to fit the red, white, and blue theme of this post.

Thank you for coming to see some of my red, white, and blue.  I don’t know if I’ll post again this week, so in case I don’t, I want to wish each of you a SAFE AND HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!  Laurie

I think patriotic holidays are just tailor made for you, or maybe it's the other way around.

It's wonderful and festive and makes me want to spend the holiday at Laurie's place.

Happy 4th, Laurie!

Knew you would come up with something fireworks worthy for the 4th!! I am just going to come back here several times a day when I need a red white and blue fix as I have done zilch in my house!

I love that ceramic house with all the banners hanging so sweetly and the fireworks going off in the back ground! Too cute

Very patriotic, yet a touch of whimsy here and there.

I love the old postcards. Lately I have been thinking of creating more paper banners. Of course I would scan the images rather than put holes in my ancient postcard collection.
(In all my spare time, you know.)

Hi, Laurie! Love all your patriotic items! I've got a gameroom that stays decked out year round in red, white, and blue. I've got your exact little led light-up house that I got at Goodwill, but mine didn't have the adapter with it to make it light up. Could you please either picture yours for me or read what type it is so I can find a replacement? My email is on my blog!

Hugs,
Stephanie

Crap Laurie you make the rest of us look like lazy (Which admittedly I am lol!) and un patriotic! This is a veritable tour de force of 4th of July splendor!! Gloria and I were talking about how AMAZING a job you do! Seriously it's like.... better than Disneyland!! Your family members have no idea just how spoiled they are!! *winks* Vanna

Hi Laurie, love seeing your patriotic mantel. I spy a couple of old friends. Glad you've given them a good home. I pulled the boxes of patriotic things down from the attic this past week, but that's as far as I got. I hope to add some red, white, and blue to a few tabletops tonight.
It all looks festive! ~ Sarah
