Although it needs some work, I only paid $6.00 for it (well, it WAS the last day of a three-day sale, and those sellers were trying to get rid of everything.)
In spite of my husband’s fears, I really didn’t have a hard time finding a place to put it in our home. I am able to enjoy seeing it while I’m blogging, because it is right next to my laptop.
And now, just a little rambling (those who know me will not be surprised):
I love to watch the birds when they are all heading for their nests in the trees at bedtime, and
I love corny, old, rhyming poetry.
I’m linking this post to Tabletop Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life.I’m running behind in my blog visiting, because I’ve been out of town most of the weekend. One of our granddaughters fell from her horse Friday, and was sent to a hospital an hour away from our home because of concerns that she had a ruptured spleen. Thankfully, her blood clotted by itself, and surgery was not required. She came home today, and I’m trying to catch up on blog visits, because I know I’ve missed some wonderful posts.
Thank you so much for visiting me. I feel so fortunate to have such kind visitors. laurie
