THOSE RASCALLY RABBITS!

Are y’all tired of seeing my fireplace mantle?  It’s always the first thing I change for a new holiday or season.  This is the way it looked last week.

ST_PAT_FRPLC_thumb[1][1] Last week, I posted photos of the those rascally rabbits doing their gardening on my table!  I scolded them about the mess they made, but it apparently did no good! This week, they hopped over to my mantle.  They planted a huge plot of grass, and they are picking decorated eggs off of my tree (don’t all trees grow eggs?) and hiding them in the grass they planted!

The bunny with the cute pink pom pom tail was made by Lynn at TheVintage Nest last year.

Great job on the mantel! Love the bunnies, especially the couple in the middle. Most of my Spring decorations are still in the box - guess I need to get busy.

Hi Laurie,
I didn't know if you were aware of this or not, but I thought I would mention her to you, since I don't see her on your 'card list'. She has cancer, and bloggers are trying to 'storm' her with cards. Her story is here...

The cards are being mailed directly to Colette, if you're interested. Thanks, Penny

I love your German papier mache eggs! My mom's been collecting them for 30 years and they're a familiar part of her Easter decorating - they ever fail to bring back happy memories of years gone by. Your mantel looks charming!

What fun it is to decorate a mantle for any holiday. I would love it. I used to have an old wood stove that we didn't use so I decorated that for every holiday, inside and out. It was great fun.
thanks for sharing
